Bags and Luggage

Backpacks, large bags, and luggage are not permitted inside the spheres. Free lockers are available at the reception area for storage during your visit.

Strollers/Pushchairs

Due to the numerous stairs and escalators, strollers and pushchairs cannot be taken inside. They must be left in the designated area at the entrance. Baby carriers are recommended.

Photography for personal use is permitted. However, the image of the Atomium is protected by copyright. Any commercial use or publication requires prior written permission from the Atomium's management.

Prohibited Items

For security reasons, weapons, explosive or flammable substances, and other dangerous objects are strictly forbidden. Visitors may be subject to security checks.

Can I bring a small handbag?
Yes, small handbags and purses are generally allowed inside. The restriction applies to larger bags like backpacks and shopping bags.
Are tripods or selfie sticks allowed?
For the safety and comfort of all visitors, tripods and selfie sticks are generally discouraged within the narrow corridors and exhibition spaces.
Is there a dress code?
There is no specific dress code for visiting the Atomium. However, we recommend wearing comfortable shoes as the tour involves a lot of stairs and escalators.
Can I bring food or drinks inside?
No, food and drinks are not allowed inside the exhibition spheres. There is a restaurant and snack bar where you can purchase refreshments.
